Mission Statement
Brave-Aid, Inc. is a wounded veterans assistance fund that was created as a non-conventional vehicle whose goal is to give financial, emotional, and when requested, spiritual assistance to the veterans who sacrificed so much for our freedom.
Brave-Aid, Inc. also extends its support to the families of those veterans who gave their lives for our country.
Our mission is not only to provide assistance for our heroes, but also provide an ethical, honorable and honest employment opportunity by procuring assistance for our veterans.

WHY?
War affects eah person differntly. Emotional pain and sadnes are common when a person has suffered major trauma or personal loss in time of war. It may take some service members and family members some time to readjust. The possible inability to effectively manage durin ghis period can create a great deal of stress, anxiety, frustration and anger. We can assist service members and their family members to build resilience - to adapt well lin the face of adversity trauma, tradedy, or other significant sources of stress, and help them to manage stress and these feelings.

What is Required?

A military ID (for active veterans) and a copy of the DD213 (Military Discharge)

The DD214 will state where the veteran was deployed. If they were deployed after 09/11/01 and they have the Global War on the Terrorism Expeditiionary medal listed on their DD214, they are an OEF/OIF veteran.

Married partners of service personnel will have a military ID Which will identify them as the spouse of an OEF/OIF veteran.
Sgt. Dave Matthews
Sgt. Dave Matthews a wounded veteran himself, tirelessly works to help "Brave-Aid" and its cause. We are remiss in not posting Sgt. Matthews sooner. There have been times when he has called the office to allow us to speak to homeless veterans he has just fed. Below are pictures of his latest effort to help Veterans at the Road to Recovery 10/16/09 event this past weekend. God bless you Sgt. Matthews, the world needs more people like you Sir. Just too look into the faces of our Homeless Veterans and the smile you put on their faces makes our hearts full.
There are presently over 19,000 homeless Veterans in Florida. On this night thanks to you some of those 19,000 had a good meal.

On April 7th, 2009 Brave-Aid, Inc. (“BAI”) partnered with Operation Warrior Support, Inc. ("OWSI"). By far this arrangement is forming to be the single most important corporate alliance to Brave-Aid, Inc.
"OWSI", will serve as a primary fund raising source for "BAI". Through the operating structure of "OWSI", it will provide an employment opportunity to its members which will include Veterans, Wounded Veterans and families of enlisted Military Personnel. Two additional objectives that "OWSI" will provide are: Support to the families of the fallen Heroes and an income opportunity to the returning troops.
"BAI" is endeared to the efforts and sacrifices of "OWSI". Shortly after the deployment of the "OWSI" National Software Platform, "BAI" believes it will then be able to match the financial requirements of the grant applicants awaiting aid then to search out additional Grantees.
By letter from the The Florida Department of Agriculture, Brave-Aid, Inc, (A Wounded Veterans Assistance Fund) has registered with the Consumer Services Office under Registration Number CH28504 pursuant to the provisions of Florida Code, 849.0935 for the period of time which begins May 1, 2010, and ends May 2, 2011, subject to renewal for subsequent years.
